On May 31, 2021, an open curatorial hour was held dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression, which was prepared and conducted by the curators Sarsenbaeva R.A., Naenko A.B., Danilova N.V., Ibraeva V.K., Kutsenko A.D., Usina S.S., Dashkovskaya E.V.

Purpose: acquainting students with the historical past of our homeland, educating students in the spirit of democracy, freedom, personal dignity, respect for human rights and freedoms.

During the curatorial hour, students talked about the deportation of representatives of different peoples to Kazakhstan: 800 thousand Germans, 102 thousand Poles, 19 thousand Korean families, 507 thousand representatives of the peoples of the North Caucasus, Crimean Tatars, Turks, Greeks, Kalmyks and many others. In total, 1 million 500 thousand people were deported over the years. Extensive material was prepared and received by the students with great compassion.
